Both of my children have used tutoring services at Barbara Rauch. One for TACHS and one for SAT. We had tremendous success with both the group classes with Barbara and the individual sessions. I highly recommend all of the tutoring services they offer. Most importantly, my son said to me that the practice exams where they were timed on each section was what helped him the most on test day.

My children have been going to Barbara for a few years now and have gained the confidence they need to really do well in Math. Barbara and her staff are so kindhearted and committed to making these children succeed. Barbara herself has come in on different days or on the weekend to make sure my kids have the review they need for a test. Barbara Rauch has been so instrumental to our family for over 12 years. She worked with my two daughters to help prep them for SAT and various regents. As our son entered 7th grade we started thinking about TACHS prep. We initially went the route of a small group philosophy, thinking that our son would get more individualized attention. We soon came to realize that the material presented was not a planned curriculum, and it felt like there were no specific goals in mind. If one child was absent from our tutoring group, the instructor would cancel the services for that week. With Barbara Rauch, we immediately were able to see that the course work was thoughtfully planned. She had a planned curriculum to ensure that all important areas were covered. Homework and weekly tests were given to provide the parents and students with feedback on their efforts, progress, and to help identify any weaknesses. She always made herself available outside of class time to further explain areas in need.

We truly believe that Barbara Rauch Tutoring Service thoroughly prepared our son for both the TACHS and Algebra Regents which yielded him a wonder score that allowed him to enter high school with geometry. When we went to pick our son up from the regent’s exam, the first word out of his mouth was “THANK YOU BARBARA RAUCH!”

Words cannot express the gratitude that I have for Barbara Rauch Tutoring Service. My daughter started one on one tutoring in reading when she was behind in her skills.
